Summer Class
Valor Sports is proud to announce that it will now be opening an additional time slot exclusively for children ages 4-6 years old! For 1 month, from June 1st to July 1st, children will have the opportunity to try an exciting new extracurricular activity in the form of Taekwondo, a Korean martial art whose name means “Way of the Hand and Foot”. Martial arts is not only a great way for children to engage in physical exercise, but to also learn important physical and behavioral skills such as:
Listening and attention skills
Coordination and balance
Body control
Social interaction and team building with classmates
Character and personality development
In addition, the proven and studied benefits of martial arts for young children include, but not limited to:
Discipline and persistence
Improved mental strength
Enhanced academic performance
Outlet for excess energy
Physical strengthening
Children learn most of their behavior and coordination at an early age, which is why it is important to stimulate their minds and body constantly in their formative years. This will lead them to success later in life the more they are exposed to mental and physical challenges appropriate to their age. At Valor Sports, not only will they be challenged physically and mentally, but they will also have the opportunity to succeed as they learn the art of Taekwondo.
Of course, these benefits can be experienced by adults as well. Not only will you be learning a new skill that can improve your self-defense, it is a great way to learn and spend time together with your children. We encourage everyone and their children to get out of their comfort zone and step on the mat with us!

Fees
$100 for 1 child
$80 for each additional sibling
Parents are free and may accompany their child during class
Schedule
June 1st-July 1st (4.5 weeks)
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Start time: 5:30pm
End time: 6:30pm
Curriculum
Week 1 - Basic Kicks, Punches, Stances
Week 2 - Movement and how to combine with Kicks
Week 3 - Paddle Work while moving with Kicks, Punches, and Blocks
Week 4 - Sparring
In addition, those who sign up and continue after the 1 month will receive a free uniform! Secure your spot now as space is limited!
